Vesak Also known as [Visakah puja] .Vesak is Buddah's Original birthday and it is a major celebration of Buddah's birth . This celebration is celebrated every year . They celebrate his birth and death in one day they also celebrate it on a full moon on a leap year . Therefore it celebration lands on June . Buddhist new year is were countries such as Burma , Thailand , Cambodia ect celebrate three days for the first full moon back in April . In Mahayana countries the new year starts when the first full moon day in January or early February . They celebrate both these things by normally using candles and dancers who are dressed up as co,earful monsters . They also celebrate with colourful lanterns .
